The natural ingredients in these soothing pads will help reduce swelling and ease discomfort after childbirth. You can use cloth or disposable pads. (CGB recommends NatraCare as a disposable choice.)
What You Need:
- Overnight maxi pads of your choice
-Lavender Essential Oil (not perfume)
- Aloe Vera (the edible liquid, not the topical ointment)
- On each pad, pour 1 tablespoon of witch hazel, a dime-sized dollop of aloe-vera liquid, and 3-4 drops of lavender oil.
- Lay each pad in a freezer-safe bowl and store in the freezer (this way they will be cooling and formed to your shape!)
- Use as needed
[From Mothering Magazine, March-April 2010]
We offer all the ingredients individually, or as a kit at a discount.
Do you use any homeopathic or herbal remedies during pregnancy or after birth?

We take the health and environmental aspects of our products very seriously and the mere possibility of our product harming someone gave everyone at Klean Kanteen pause. The decision to recall and replace caps was really the easy part, running a smooth replacement program is the challenge we now are rising to.
