Friends of Forest River Park Toy & Wine Night

The holidays are quickly approaching and maybe you’re looking for some time to relax. Maybe you’re looking for a few last-minute gifts.

Or maybe you’re just looking for a way to support The Friends of Forest River Park!

Luckily, Crunchy Granola Baby and Pamplemousse are joining forces to provide you (our favorite moms and dads) with an evening of relaxed shopping that will benefit the re-building of the playground at Forest River Park in Salem.

Join us at CGB on Thursday, November 6 for our “Friends of Forest River Park Toy & Wine Night.” (While some may think that toys are wine don’t go together, we tend to disagree.)

The evening will include a wine tasting (provided by Pamplemousse), light hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction of HABA toys (provided by CGB). Since CGB is switching from HABA toys to Imagiplay toys, all remaining HABA items need to find new homes. Additionally, all proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the playground fundraiser.

What could be better?!

Items being auctioned include: baby swings, toddler swings, ball tracks, mobiles, building blocks, wagons, and more! Please note that some items are floor models and are therefore not in the world’s best condition.

We will also be auctioning donated goods and services, such as a one-hour massage and one hour of “green” house cleaning.

So if you’re interested in getting a great deal on some quality toys, be sure to attend “Friends of Forest River Park Toy & Wine Night.”

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Crunchy Granola Baby (72 Washington St. in Salem) and Pamplemousse (185 Essex St. in Salem).

All proceeds benefit The Friends of Forest River Park.

Event runs from 4:30 to 8pm (Silent Auction - 4:30 to 7pm, Wine Tasting - 5 to 7pm)
*Silent Auction winners will be announced at 8pm.
