CGB gallery artist: Kris Kimball

Even though we're already halfway through March and many of you have already seen his work, we figured it would be fun to blog about our amazing new gallery artist.

Kris Kimball is a 24-year old documentary film student studying for his M.A. at Emerson College in Boston. A Danvers native, Kimball also holds a B.A. in communications and fine arts from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.

His artistic influences range from nature and the outdoors to past adventures and places he hopes to go. He enjoys experimenting with all artistic mediums: painting, digital photography, film, animation, etc.

Currently, Kimball is devoting most of his time to working on his Masters project – a documentary about surfing in New England.

And as an avid surfer, and a serious animal lover, Kris will donate a portion of the proceeds from all painting sales at Crunchy Granola Baby to Surfrider Massachusetts and to the MSCPA.
