COASTSWEEP 2008
Come help Salem Sound Coastwatch clean up Salem's beaches this weekend!
As part of a statewide "Coastsweep 2008" campaign, Salem Sound Coastwatch will be cleaning up Dead Horse Beach (Memorial Drive in Salem Willows) and Furlong Park (Franklin Street in North Salem) from 9 to 10:30am on Saturday, September 20. There is no need to register, just come, bring friends and family and help clean up the debris. Salem Sound Coastwatch will supply trash bags and gloves.
And if you're busy this weekend, how about joining Salem Sound Coastwatch on Monday, September 22 to help clean up Coney Island in Salem Sound? Volunteers will be taking crew members out in their boats, leaving around 10am and returning around 12:30pm. RSVP required for Coney Island cleanup!
